Dibba Al Hisn, Al Arabi, and Hatta booked their places in the quarterfinals of the preliminary rounds for the 2025-2026 UAE President’s Cup, after successfully overcoming their opponents in the first round.
\nDibba Al Hisn defeated Al Jazira Al Hamra 2-0, while Al Arabi overcame Fujairah 4-2. Hatta needed penalties to defeat City 4-1 after a goalless draw at Hamdan bin Rashid Stadium.
\nThe first round matches continue today with four matches: Al Orouba vs. Emirates, Masfout vs. Majd, Al Dhaid vs. Gulf United, and United vs. Al Ettifaq. Meanwhile, Al Hamriyah has already secured direct qualification to the quarterfinals.
\nThe playoffs are held in a single-match knockout format, with eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals and then the semifinals.
