The Dibba Al-Hisn first football team returned to the UAE on Saturday evening, coming from the Egyptian capital, Cairo, after concluding its successful 20-day training camp abroad, as part of preparations for the new football season.

The training camp was held in an ideal atmosphere characterized by commitment, discipline, and a high team spirit. The technical staff, led by the coach and his assistants, implemented an intensive preparation program that included daily physical and tactical training, in addition to four intense friendly matches, with the aim of raising fitness levels and enhancing harmony among the players.

The team achieved outstanding results in its friendly matches, opening its matches with a resounding 4-1 victory over the Egyptian Shams team, followed by a repeat of the same result in the second match against the Egyptian Al-Etisalat team.

Dibba Al-Hisn continued its positive performance with a 1-0 victory over the Saudi Al-Adalah team in its third match, before concluding its training camp with an exciting 3-3 draw against the Iraqi Al-Zawraa team, in a match that witnessed great competition from both sides.

Commenting on the camp’s results, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, emphasized that the external camp in Cairo was a success by all standards. He praised the spirit of commitment and discipline demonstrated by the players throughout the preparatory period, which reflects their seriousness in preparing for the new season.

He also noted that the technical and physical gains achieved during this period will form a solid foundation for the team’s launch into the upcoming league competitions.

For their part, the team’s technical and administrative staff expressed their great satisfaction with the goals achieved during the camp, stressing that the team witnessed a clear improvement in the level of harmony among the players and a significant increase in fitness levels, which is a positive indicator for the near future.

The technical staff emphasized that the next phase will witness continued work with the same high spirit, with a focus on correcting some technical aspects and intensifying training sessions to ensure the team enters the official competitions in the best possible manner.
