Dibba Al Hisn Club player Saeed Mohammed Tamrouq won first place and the gold medal in the men’s under-21 category for the 70-meter Olympic archery competition. This came during the first stage of the UAE Archery League for the 2025-2026 season. The competition took place over two days in Sharjah, with wide participation from various clubs and sports bodies across the country.
Saeed Tamrouq demonstrated an outstanding performance characterized by focus and high accuracy, which qualified him to ascend the podium after a fierce competition with some of the most prominent archery players in the country. This victory reaffirms his superiority in this sport, which is witnessing continuous development in the UAE.
This award is part of a series of successes achieved by the Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club in various individual and team sports, confirming its commitment to developing young talent and preparing them to compete in local and international tournaments.
Abdullah Al Watari, Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, noted that this achievement was the result of continuous efforts in daily training and the great support provided to its players by the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club. He noted that Saeed possesses exceptional talent and a determination to develop, which bodes well for his future in local and international archery championships.
For his part, Tamrouq expressed his happiness with this victory, stressing that the gold medal is a strong motivation for him to achieve further accomplishments. He thanked the club’s management, his coach, and his teammates for their continuous support.
Captain Issam Nashat, Tamrouq’s coach, indicated that this achievement was not a coincidence, but rather the result of a well-thought-out training plan that began at the beginning of the season. This plan focused on developing the player’s physical, psychological, and technical aspects through intensive training and a careful analysis of his performance at every stage.
