Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club launched the 16th edition of the Holy Quran Competition under the slogan “Memorize and Recite” in cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah, and under the auspices of the Sharjah Charity Association.
The competition targets age groups not exceeding 18 years, and this edition has been updated from previous editions, and includes the following branches (10 parts – 5 parts – 2 parts – a branch for age groups of club members – a branch for people of determination in Dibba Al-Hisn and Dibba Al-Fujairah).
The best voice from the participants and the religious figure in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn will be honored this year, with a ceremony honoring the winners of the competition. The last date for registration was set for Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, stressed the importance of these religious competitions in developing the interest of generations of the city’s sons in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran. The competition contributes to instilling the values of the Holy Quran.
