Dibba Al Hisn left the last place for the first time this season, after achieving its first victory over Bani Yas, with a goal without a response, on Saturday, at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium in Khorfakkan, in the eighth round of the competition.
Dibba Al Hisn jumped two places at once to occupy the 12th place with five points, ahead of Khorfakkan, which dropped to the 13th place with four points, while Al Orouba is in the last place with three points.
Dibba Al Hisn owes this victory over Bani Yas to its Montenegrin player Niska Vujanovic, who scored the only goal of the match in the 32nd minute, capitalizing on a mistake by goalkeeper Fahad Al Dhanhani after a counterattack from which he scored the winning goal.
Dibba Al Hisn, led by its national coach Hassan Al Abdouli, presented a distinguished match from a defensive standpoint, as its players succeeded in closing all the outlets leading to their goalkeeper Suhail Abdullah’s goal and keeping their net clean.
