The Sharjah Award for Sports Excellence Leadership Program Committee at Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club held its first meeting at the club’s headquarters yesterday evening, Monday, headed by Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Committee, to discuss the most prominent topics related to the concepts and criteria of the award, and to develop the necessary executive plans to ensure the achievement of its objectives in supporting excellence and leadership in the sports sector.

The Committee affirms its commitment to developing the program in a way that supports innovation and enhances the culture of sports excellence, with great hopes that the award will have a tangible positive impact that contributes to advancing the wheel of sports development in the community, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, may God protect him, to enhance leadership and excellence in various fields.

During the meeting, the tasks of the working team members were determined, a timetable for the award was set, in addition to reviewing its criteria and the importance of disseminating it widely to consolidate the culture of sports excellence, which contributes to achieving the objectives for which the award was established by the Board of Directors headed by Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al Mutawa.

Dibba Al-Hisn Club distributes 673 Iftar meals daily during Ramadan in cooperation with Sharjah Charity Association

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and within the framework of its community initiatives, Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club cooperates with the Sharjah Charity Association in Dibba Al-Hisn, to prepare and distribute 673 Iftar meals daily in the tents designated for Iftar for the fasting. This initiative aims to support the community and enhance the values ​​of solidarity and mutual support during the holy month.

Through this initiative, Dibba Al-Hisn Club emphasizes the importance of the role of sports institutions in supporting the community and contributing to achieving social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club hosted the Sharjah Award for Sports Excellence Leadership Committee, organized by the Sharjah Sports Council, on Tuesday evening, with the aim of explaining the award’s criteria and categories and the mechanism for submitting files.

The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, in addition to members of the Board of Directors of the club and the company.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al Mutawa praised the initiative of the Sharjah Sports Council, stressing that the award is an ideal platform for honoring innovators in the sports field, as it encourages excellence and leadership, which contributes to enhancing creativity and innovation in the sports and cultural sector.

Dibba Al-Hisn launches the 16th edition of the Holy Quran Competition

Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club launched the 16th edition of the Holy Quran Competition under the slogan “Memorize and Recite” in cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah, and under the auspices of the Sharjah Charity Association.

The competition targets age groups not exceeding 18 years, and this edition has been updated from previous editions, and includes the following branches (10 parts – 5 parts – 2 parts – a branch for age groups of club members – a branch for people of determination in Dibba Al-Hisn and Dibba Al-Fujairah).
The best voice from the participants and the religious figure in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn will be honored this year, with a ceremony honoring the winners of the competition. The last date for registration was set for Saturday, March 8, 2025.

As part of the celebrations of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club for the UAE Innovation Month, and as part of its monthly plan, the club organized a distinguished lecture entitled “The Journey of Innovation from Idea to Implementation”, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Taraban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club.

The lecture was presented by Ahmed Abdullah Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee, during which he reviewed the methods of creating innovative ideas and how to transform them into practical application on the ground. He also touched on the importance of research and analysis in enhancing innovation and achieving sustainable success in various fields.

The city of Dibba Al-Hisn witnessed the opening of the second edition of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Festival yesterday evening, amidst a large official and public presence that reflects the importance of the event and its growing position in the city’s sports and cultural scene.

The opening ceremony was held in the heritage village, in the presence of a group of prominent figures, led by His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al-Hisn Municipal Council, His Excellency Adel Alwan Al Naqbi, Director of the Amiri Diwan, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Taraban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Football Company, in addition to members of the Advisory Council and heads and directors of government departments and bodies in the city.

Dibba Al-Hisn Club is preparing to launch its second sports festival

As part of the preparations for the second Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club Festival, which the club is scheduled to host, the second meeting was held yesterday evening, Wednesday, headed by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club.

The meeting was attended by a large number of representatives of government departments in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn, as it was held under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council.

His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, honored three of its most prominent players and technical staff, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts during the month of November 2024, as Captain Hassan Al Abdouli, the first team coach, was honored with the Best Coach Award, while player Niksa Vujanovic received the Best Player Award, and goalkeeper Suhail Al Mutawa was crowned with the Best Goalkeeper Award.

Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, in cooperation with Dibba Al Hisn Football Company, announced the launch of the first edition of a development project aimed at upgrading its human cadres, through the adoption of a set of incentive awards that include four categories: the Club Champions Award, the Annual Club Award for Distinguished Youth, the Distinguished Employee Award, and the Annual Club Award for Distinguished Guardian.

The launch of this project coincides with the celebrations of the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates, and aims to enhance the vision of the Sharjah Sports Council in building a distinguished and happy sports community.

Dibba Al-Hisn Club celebrates the 53rd Union Day and reviews the country’s achievements

Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club witnessed a special celebration on the occasion of the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of a number of dignitaries and directors of government institutions in the city, in addition to its dignitaries, club presidents and invitees.

The ceremony, which was held at the club’s headquarters, attracted a large audience of employees, players, coaches and administrators, and began with a national operetta entitled “Ahd Al Dar”, which was presented in a creative artistic style that embodied the history of the Emirates since its founding by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless his soul.

The operetta included scenes that shed light on the life of hunting and diving and the hardships of the ancestors’ journeys, in addition to the life of the Bedouins in the desert, which was characterized by generosity and hospitality.

The show covered the dazzling journey of Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, and how he was able to transform the desert into vibrant green oases, with rare footage of him delivering the Union Declaration in 1971.

The operetta also reviewed the country’s achievements in the path of construction and development, starting with the discovery of oil and its investment in development, all the way to the launch of the UAE satellite, reflecting the country’s ability to keep pace with the world’s major countries in various fields, and demonstrated the UAE’s unique ability to embrace different cultures and nationalities on its land, affirming its position as a symbol of tolerance and coexistence.

Dibba Al-Hisn Club Passes External Audit for Quality Management System Certification.

 

Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club successfully passed the external audit for the third phase of the Integrated Quality Management System certification, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

The club hosted a delegation from SGS, the certification body for the Integrated Quality Management System, confirming the club’s compliance with administrative standards, its ability to meet legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, and the effectiveness of its management system in achieving set objectives with potential areas for improvement.

The opening meeting was attended by Ahmad Abdullah Al-Naqbi, the club’s Quality Representative and Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee, along with Ali Yarouf, Secretary, Saeed Al-Yahyai, Head of the Team Sports Committee, Abdullah Al-Watari, Head of the Individual Sports Committee, and club staff and coaches.

Al-Naqbi welcomed the committee members, emphasizing the club’s commitment to compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, as well as its dedication to quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.

The meeting included a presentation on the club’s administrative and technical work, initiatives, and events, along with the audit plan for the third phase of the Integrated Quality Management System.

The audit involved separate reviews and discussions with each club committee to ensure compliance, followed by an on-site inspection by the committee with the Quality Representative and the club’s Environment, Health, and Safety team to review operational controls.

During the final meeting, the committee provided feedback for further improvement and development of the club’s performance.

The visiting delegation praised the club’s adherence to the Integrated Quality Management System, congratulated the attendees, and recommended the club’s continued commitment to the quality management system.
