The club’s pavilion in the heritage village witnessed a remarkable presence of distinguished guests and prominent figures, in addition to a wide turnout from the public, including citizens and residents of different nationalities and age groups, including adults, youth and children, in addition to an elite group of cultural, sports and artistic figures, who praised the club’s efforts in preserving heritage and enhancing community awareness.

The club’s pavilion featured a comprehensive display of its journey extending since its establishment in 1980 under the name of Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, as it included a group of documentary panels that narrate the stages of its development, and its most prominent sports and cultural achievements, in addition to documenting the names of the presidents and members of the boards of directors who led the club through its various stages. The pavilion also contained a large picture of deceased Al Hisn personalities who left a positive impact on the club’s journey, in honor of their efforts in serving sports and society.

This distinguished presence of Dibba Al Hisn Club comes within the framework of its keenness to effectively integrate into cultural and community events, confirming its role that goes beyond sports to include supporting the Emirati heritage and interacting with national initiatives that enhance identity and belonging. Ajman achieves victory over Dibba Al-Hisn

Ajman returned from its host Dibba Al-Hisn with the winning points, after defeating it with a clean goal, this evening, in the 17th round of the UAE ADNOC Professional League.

The only goal of the match was scored by Walid Azaro in the 34th minute.

With this victory, Ajman raised its score to 22 points in eighth place, while Dibba Al-Hisn’s score froze at 10 points in 13th place.

Dibba Al-Hisn launches the 16th edition of the Holy Quran Competition

Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club launched the 16th edition of the Holy Quran Competition under the slogan “Memorize and Recite” in cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah, and under the auspices of the Sharjah Charity Association.

The competition targets age groups not exceeding 18 years, and this edition has been updated from previous editions, and includes the following branches (10 parts – 5 parts – 2 parts – a branch for age groups of club members – a branch for people of determination in Dibba Al-Hisn and Dibba Al-Fujairah).
The best voice from the participants and the religious figure in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn will be honored this year, with a ceremony honoring the winners of the competition. The last date for registration was set for Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, stressed the importance of these religious competitions in developing the interest of generations of the city’s sons in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran. The competition contributes to instilling the values ​​of the Holy Quran.

As part of the celebrations of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club for the UAE Innovation Month, and as part of its monthly plan, the club organized a distinguished lecture entitled “The Journey of Innovation from Idea to Implementation”, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Taraban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club.

The lecture was presented by Ahmed Abdullah Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee, during which he reviewed the methods of creating innovative ideas and how to transform them into practical application on the ground. He also touched on the importance of research and analysis in enhancing innovation and achieving sustainable success in various fields.

Al-Naqbi explained the role of creativity in personal development, in addition to the great impact of innovation in improving institutional capabilities that contribute to economic, administrative, technological and societal growth.

He stressed that innovation is the key to the success of any business, and that it is not limited to products or services, but extends to include the institutional work itself.

Al-Naqbi also discussed in his lecture new tools and methods for improving goods and services, explaining the importance of adopting innovation as part of the daily work strategy to achieve excellence.

At the end of the lecture, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa honored a number of creative employees who made distinguished efforts in their work. Dibba Al-Hisn Handball Club begins its journey in the Gulf Handball Championship by meeting Oman

The Dibba Al-Hisn Handball Team launched its journey in the 41st Gulf Clubs Cup Champions Championship at 6:30 pm on Saturday, by meeting the Omani Omani team, the tournament organizer hosted by the sisterly Sultanate of Oman during the period from February 14 to 24, with the participation of 7 teams after the apology of Al-Najma Al-Bahrain, which were distributed into two groups according to the tournament system and regulations. The first group included: Al-Rayyan of Qatar, Al-Seeb of Oman, and Al-Noor of Saudi Arabia, while the second group included: Oman of Oman, the tournament host, Kuwait of Kuwait, and Al-Arabi of Qatar,

in addition to the Dibba Al-Hisn team, which will play its second match against Kuwait of Kuwait, and conclude its journey in the group stage by meeting Al-Arabi of Qatar. The Dibba Al-Hisn team had held an external camp in the Omani capital, Muscat, as part of the early preparation for the Gulf event and adapting to the conditions, as well as early entry into the atmosphere of the tournament, under the technical leadership headed by the Algerian Habib Haba and the administrative apparatus consisting of Ali Obaid Ahmed, the supervisor of group games, Saeed Nasser, the team administrator, and 20 players ready to complete the system of expected excellence For the team after reaching the highest levels of excellence in both physical and technical aspects, ensuring that handball in the Emirates is represented in an honorable manner.

The city of Dibba Al-Hisn witnessed the opening of the second edition of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Festival yesterday evening, amidst a large official and public presence that reflects the importance of the event and its growing position in the city’s sports and cultural scene.

The opening ceremony was held in the heritage village, in the presence of a group of prominent figures, led by His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al-Hisn Municipal Council, His Excellency Adel Alwan Al Naqbi, Director of the Amiri Diwan, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Taraban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Football Company, in addition to members of the Advisory Council and heads and directors of government departments and bodies in the city.

The ceremony began with the playing of the UAE national anthem, marking the launch of the festival, followed by a speech by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Events, in which he stressed that the festival comes in translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who pays great attention to culture and sports, and is keen to support various events that contribute to enhancing the spirit of the community and consolidating sports and cultural values.

Dibba Al-Hisn Club delegation leaves for Muscat to participate in the 41st Gulf Handball Championship

The Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club men’s handball team left yesterday morning via Dubai International Airport, heading to the Omani capital, Muscat, to represent the UAE handball in the 41st edition of the Gulf Clubs Cup Champions Championship, which is hosted by the Oman Club during the period from February 15 to 24.

The mission is headed by Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al-Amel, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Group Games Committee, assisted by Abdullah Saeed Al-Watri, Deputy Head of the Mission and Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, along with Supervisor Ali Obaid Ahmed Al-Qahtani and Administrator Saeed Nasser Al-Naimi.
