Dibba Al-Hisn defeated its host Al-Orouba 2-1, today, Thursday, in the 13th round of the ADNOC Professional League.

Dibba Al-Hisn took the lead through Pierre Conde in the 66th minute, before his teammate Haitham Jouini added the second goal in the 72nd minute.

In the seventh minute of stoppage time in the second half, Al-Orouba scored its only goal through its player Abdullah Anwar from a penalty kick.

Dibba Al-Hisn raised its score to 9 points in twelfth place, only one point away from Al-Bataeh, who is in thirteenth place, and 6 points away from Al-Orouba, who is in fourteenth and last place.

Dibba Al Hisn Football Club witnessed the launch of the Talented Football Championship for those born between 2014 and 2017, amidst an enthusiastic sports atmosphere and a large attendance of players’ parents and the public.

The opening ceremony, which was held yesterday evening, was attended by a group of prominent sports and administrative figures, most notably His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, in addition to His Excellency Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Hamoudi, Director General of the Eastern Region Police General Command, and Saeed Al Ajil, Vice President of the Emirates Sports for All Federation, in addition to a number of members of the club’s board of directors and distinguished guests from the city’s notables.

The opening ceremony began with the UAE national anthem, followed by a speech by His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, who stressed the importance of the tournament as a valuable opportunity to bring together future football stars in an educational and entertaining sports atmosphere.

He also pointed out the lofty goals that the tournament seeks to achieve, including investing the time of children and young people in a purposeful sports activity, in addition to discovering promising football talents from this young age group.

Al Tarban added that Dibba Al Hisn Club is committed to policies that focus on supporting emerging age groups through a set of sports programs that contribute to achieving the vision of the Sharjah Sports Council in supporting activities for children and youth, and motivating them to engage in football fields as a creative space that develops their skills and instills in them the values ​​of teamwork and fair competition.

The tournament activities kicked off with four exciting matches between the participating teams, where the names of the club’s first team players were given to the eight participating teams. The teams presented a distinguished performance that reflected their good preparation for the tournament, and the matches showed promising glimpses that herald a bright future for this category.

The tournament is scheduled to continue until Tuesday, the 28th of this month, where it will conclude with honoring the winners in a festive atmosphere that praises the efforts made by the players and emphasizes the importance of this distinguished sporting event in promoting community sports.

A 2-2 draw decided the match between Dibba Al-Hisn and its guest Kalba, in the match that took place between them on Sunday evening, at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, in the tenth round of the ADNOC Professional League, which witnessed Al-Nasr’s victory over its guest Khorfakkan with a score of (3-1).

In the match between Dibba Al-Hisn and Kalba, Iranian Saman Ghoddos succeeded in giving his team Kalba a valuable point by scoring the equalizer in the last seconds of stoppage time (90 +7).

The first half ended with Dibba Al-Hisn leading with a goal scored by Tunisian Haitham Al-Juwaini in the 13th minute, then Kalba equalized in the 56th minute through Mehdi Qaidi.

Dibba Al-Hisn returned to the lead through Midana Kasama in the 73rd minute, and Kalba equalized in the seventh minute of stoppage time through Saman Ghoddos.

With this draw, which is the fifth for the “Tigers” in the competition, the team reaches 14 points in seventh place, and Dibba Al-Hisn has the sixth point, advancing to twelfth place.

Al Nasr escaped Dibba Al Hisn’s ambush and won with difficulty by three goals to two in the match that brought them together this evening at Al Maktoum Stadium, as part of the 9th round of the ADNOC Professional League. With this result, the Brigadier raised his score to 16 points in fifth place, while Dibba Al Hisn maintained 12th place with 5 points. Al-Nasr took an early lead through Adel Taarabt in the 7th minute, then added a second goal from a penalty kick by Ali Mabkhout in the 10th minute. Al-Ameed continued their good performances and translated their advantage into a third goal in the 27th minute through Dutchman Leroy Fer, but Dibba Al-Hisn did not throw in the towel and put pressure on Al-Nasr’s defense until they were able to reduce the difference through Haitham Al-Juwaini in the 41st minute.

Al-Nasr played cautiously in defense at the beginning of the second half, while Dibba Al-Hisn went all out on the attack led by Al-Juwaini and succeeded once again in reducing the difference through Midana Bigna in the 57th minute, which raised the performance of Dibba Al-Hisn, who intensified their attacks in search of a draw, while Al-Nasr’s performance declined, especially after Taarabt left. The final minutes witnessed Dibba Al-Hisn dominating and scoring a goal that was disallowed by the referee due to offside.

The UAE Pro League announced the winners of the best awards for November in the ADNOC Pro League, for the categories of best player, best goalkeeper and best coach.

Dibba Al Hisn player Niksa Vujanovic won the best player award, beating the quartet Guilherme Pero (Sharjah), Haris Seferovic (Al Wasl), Junior Flemings (Ajman), and Leandro Spadacio (Kalba).

Dibba Al Hisn goalkeeper Suhail Abdullah won the best goalkeeper award, beating Ali Khaseif (Al Jazira) and Sultan Al Mandhari (Kalba).

Finally, Hassan Al Abdouli, coach of Dibba Al Hisn, won the best coach award for November, beating Hussein Ammouta (Al Jazira) and Fok Razovic (Kalba).
