This well-deserved recognition followed a series of remarkable successes achieved by Tamrouq, most notably his winning second place and the silver medal at the 4th GCC Games held in Doha, Qatar, in December 2015. Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, honored the junior handball team players and their technical and administrative staff in recognition of their outstanding achievement of finishing as runners-up in the UAE Junior Handball Cup this season.

The ceremony was attended by Ali Mohammed Yaarouf Al Naqbi, Secretary General, and Saeed Mohammed Al Yahyai, ​​Head of the Team Sports Committee, who praised the players’ skill and fighting spirit throughout the tournament.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, visited Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club. He was received by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, along with members of the Board of Directors.

During the visit, His Highness toured the club’s various facilities, including the stadiums, halls, and sports and administrative buildings. He received a detailed explanation of the club’s operations, electronic programs, and activities offered to different age groups.

The UAE Football Association enhances the media presence of Dibba Al-Hisn players.

 

The UAE Football Association organized a media training workshop for the technical and administrative staff and players of Dibba Al-Hisn Club on Tuesday. This workshop is part of a series organized by the UAE Football Association for First Division clubs, aimed at raising players’ awareness of the importance of media in the lives of athletes and how to interact with various media outlets.

The workshop was held at the club’s theater with the participation of first-team players. It was presented by Salem Ali Al-Naqbi, Director of Media at the UAE Football Association. The workshop is part of the Association’s efforts to promote a culture of professionalism among all parties involved in the First Division league.

During the workshop, the presenter discussed communication skills with the media and how to interact with them, explaining the most important rules for conducting television and press interviews. He also addressed the topic of media appearances and the necessity of adhering to the required standards and criteria for appearance.

The medical unit at Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club held a comprehensive meeting, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by Mohammed Khalifa Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director, and the medical staff. The meeting reviewed and discussed 4,667 cases treated by the medical team from January 1, 2025, to December 8, 2025, as part of a comprehensive monitoring of approved healthcare mechanisms and ensuring the provision of the best medical services to beneficiaries.

The meeting included a detailed presentation on the number of cases treated, the types of services provided, and the approved medical follow-up mechanisms, reflecting the efficiency of the club’s healthcare system and its commitment to rapid response and providing appropriate care according to the highest professional standards.

The attendees also discussed the free treatment sessions dedicated to senior citizens, emphasizing their continued provision regularly and with high quality. This initiative stems from Dibba Al-Hisn Club’s social responsibility and its commitment to promoting a healthy quality of life and supporting various segments of society.

On the sports front, Dr. Al-Mutawa discussed with the medical staff the injuries of the club’s players and the approved treatment and rehabilitation plans for each case, in addition to emphasizing the importance of adhering to health and safety procedures and preventing injuries inside and outside the stadiums, in order to ensure the safety of the players and the sustainability of their performance, and to enhance the physical readiness of the various sports teams in the club.

Dibba Al-Hisn signs Portuguese coach Bruno Pereira to lead the first team

In a move reflecting the club’s ambitions to strengthen its position in competitions, Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club officially announced the signing of Portuguese coach Bruno Pereira to lead the first team’s technical staff. The announcement was made in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al-Tarban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The signing of Pereira comes as a replacement for former coach Tariq Abdul-Halim, as part of the club’s plan to inject new blood into the team and enrich its technical staff with experienced coaches capable of further developing the team’s performance and raising its standards in the coming period.

The Portuguese coach boasts an impressive coaching record in the Arabian Gulf region, having led a number of well-known clubs in the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, including Al-Oruba and Dibba (UAE), Al-Nahda (Oman), Al-Majzel (Saudi Arabia), Al-Seeb (Oman), Al-Nasr (Oman), and Al-Khalidiyah (Bahrain). The Committee was received by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Club, Mr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Watari, Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, along with several sports team supervisors and committee secretaries.

Saeed Tamrouq, player of Dibba Al-Hisn Club, wins the gold medal in archery for the under-21 category.

Dibba Al Hisn Club player Saeed Mohammed Tamrouq won first place and the gold medal in the men’s under-21 category for the 70-meter Olympic archery competition. This came during the first stage of the UAE Archery League for the 2025-2026 season. The competition took place over two days in Sharjah, with wide participation from various clubs and sports bodies across the country.

Saeed Tamrouq demonstrated an outstanding performance characterized by focus and high accuracy, which qualified him to ascend the podium after a fierce competition with some of the most prominent archery players in the country. This victory reaffirms his superiority in this sport, which is witnessing continuous development in the UAE.
