As part of its sports programs aimed at honing the skills of young players and enhancing their awareness of the values of discipline and sportsmanship, the Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club organized a workshop titled “Sports Behavior Management Regulations” as part of the “Comprehensive Player” program for football players aged 12, 14, and 16. The workshop was presented by Ahmed Abdullah Al Ghasib, Chairman of the Club’s Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee, in the presence of Mohammed Rashid Rushoud, a member of the Cultural and Community Committee.
Al Ghasib began the workshop with a moving speech in which he cited the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, may God protect him, which embody the great importance the wise leadership places on youth and sports, as they are the pillars of the future and the foundation of development. He then went on to explain the objectives of the “Sports Behavior Management Regulations,” explaining that they aim to instill the values of discipline and good behavior and foster a positive environment within stadiums based on mutual respect and commitment to team spirit.
He also provided a detailed explanation of Article 6 of the regulations relating to conduct and violations, reviewing the mechanisms for implementing the reward system for positive behavior, as well as the disciplinary measures imposed on violators in accordance with standards of fairness and transparency. This ensures the development of a balanced personality for young players, characterized by awareness and responsibility.
At the conclusion of the workshop, motivational competitions were held, followed by a prize distribution ceremony for the participants. This contributed to enhancing their motivation and leaving a positive impression about the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations. Attendees praised the educational and awareness-raising impact of this workshop, emphasizing that it constitutes a qualitative addition to preparing a conscious sports generation that cherishes noble sporting values and represents the club well on and off the field.
