The national archery team player and Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club player, Saeed Mohammed Tamrouq, arrived in the homeland yesterday evening via Sharjah International Airport, after concluding his successful participation in the West Asian Championship held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Tamrouq was crowned with a wonderful sporting achievement, as he won the gold medal in the team championship, highlighting his distinguished skills in archery, to continue adding new pages of pride and achievements to the UAE’s sports.
This gold medal won by Tamrouq in the West Asian Championship embodies a new step in the continuous development of archery in the UAE, and contributes to enhancing the country’s reputation at the regional and international sports levels.
The champion Saeed Tamrouq was received upon his arrival at the airport by Abdullah Saeed Al Watri Al Dhahouri, Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, Hassan Subaian Al Tunaiji, Supervisor of Individual Games at Dibba Al Hisn Club, in addition to his coach, Captain Essam Ahmed Nashat.
The airport was filled with joy on the occasion of the victory, as Tamrouq was warmly received and presented with bouquets of flowers to congratulate him on this great achievement he and his teammates achieved.
In a statement after his arrival, player Saeed Tamrouq expressed his great happiness with the honorable results he achieved for the UAE sports in the West Asian Championship. He stressed that he will continue to provide the best performance in the future, extending his thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported him, whether on a personal level or within the framework of the national team.
Tamrouq also dedicated this national achievement to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in appreciation of His Highness’s support and continuous patronage of the sports movement in the Emirate of Sharjah, which is the support that contributed to achieving these great achievements.
He also thanked Dibba Al Hisn Club for providing the ideal sports environment that helped him reach this high level of performance.
