Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club organized an awareness lecture for its sports community entitled “The Art of Speaking and Dialogue Management,” presented by Dr. Attia El-Sayed. The lecture was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, the club’s president, along with the club’s technical and administrative staff, and a number of employees and coaches from Dibba Al-Fujairah Club, in an atmosphere characterized by interaction and intellectual enrichment.
This lecture is part of a series of programs and activities organized by the club to raise the cultural and professional level of its members and foster a positive work environment based on constructive sports dialogue and positive, collaborative interaction.
The lecture addressed the importance of effective communication skills in sports and administrative work environments. Dr. Attia El-Sayed reviewed the foundations of tactful speaking and methods for conveying ideas clearly and confidently, in addition to active listening skills, which are essential pillars for the success of any constructive dialogue. He also highlighted the importance of body language and its impact on reinforcing verbal messages, noting that communication is not limited to words alone, but also includes gestures and behaviors that reflect the speaker’s personality.
The lecturer also addressed dialogue management strategies in various situations, particularly in cases of disagreement or pressure, emphasizing the importance of remaining calm, flexible, and respecting differing viewpoints to reach common solutions that serve the best interests of teamwork. He presented several real-life examples and practical applications that enhanced the attendees’ understanding of the concepts discussed.
The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the audience, who posed numerous questions and inquiries, adding a dynamic element to the session and contributing to the exchange of experiences among the participants.
