Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, in cooperation with Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, organized a Workers’ Volleyball Festival to celebrate International Workers’ Day. The festival was held at the club’s hall in Dibba Al Hisn. The festival coincided with the Year of Community 2025 and is part of its efforts to strengthen community cohesion and instill values ​​of appreciation and respect for all segments of society.

Organizing this distinguished sporting and social event is part of the club’s initiatives aimed at embodying the directives of the wise leadership to support all segments of society, especially workers, who are considered partners in the process of development and construction.

The festival witnessed widespread participation from the club’s workers, in an enthusiastic atmosphere characterized by interaction and high sportsmanship, with a remarkable public presence from the city’s residents and employees of neighboring institutions.

Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club, emphasized that the festival embodies the club’s commitment to its social responsibility and reflects the spirit of the “Year of the Community,” which the country is celebrating in 2025. He noted that the event aims to thank and appreciate workers for their continuous efforts and motivate them through sports and recreational activities that contribute to enhancing their mental and physical health.

For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, explained that this festival combines the sporting and humanitarian dimensions and serves as a platform to highlight the role of workers in the institutional work system and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect among the components of the sports community.
