
The second annual Ramadan tournament for employees of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club was held in a vibrant sporting and social atmosphere. Four teams representing the club’s staff and administrators participated, with Antar Hussein’s team emerging victorious after a remarkable performance throughout the competition.
In a statement, the club affirmed that “this tournament is a tribute to the employees who have been an integral part of the club’s history and spirit, leaving a lasting positive impact on everyone through their dedication and commitment to serving Dibba Al-Hisn. Among them are Saeed Suleiman bin Zayed, one of the founders of sports in Dibba Al-Hisn, who contributed significantly to administrative work and played a vital role in building the club’s sporting legacy; Saif Mohammed bin Ya’rouf, the club’s goalkeeper who defended the team’s colors with unwavering loyalty and was distinguished by his exceptional sportsmanship, setting an example of a committed and devoted player; Antar Hussein, a dedicated employee; and Mohammed Abdullah Baghdad, an administrative staff member and a loyal supporter.”
The club added that “these and others who served this sports institution will remain part of the club’s memory and history, asking God to have mercy on them and to reward them for what they have done.”
