The third Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Festival kicked off its first day amidst a festive atmosphere and a remarkable public turnout. The opening ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, along with directors of government institutions in Dibba Al-Hisn, as well as the chairman and members of the board of directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club and Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club.
The opening ceremony included honoring partners and sponsors in recognition of their active role in the festival’s success. This was followed by an official tour of the festival’s various sections, which featured a diverse range of sports, cultural, and heritage activities, reflecting the festival’s objectives of promoting sports and culture and reinforcing community values.
The first day featured a variety of distinguished sports and cultural events that were well-received by attendees of all ages. Interactive raffles and prizes for the audience further enhanced the atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement. The opening ceremony was enlivened by performances from the Al-Mubajjal and Al-Washahi troupes, who presented outstanding heritage performances that added an authentic artistic and cultural dimension to the event.
The organizers of the festival confirmed that this edition comes as an extension of the successes achieved by the festival in its previous editions, and aims to enhance the position of Dibba Al-Hisn Club as a sports and cultural club that serves the community, with the expectation that the various events and activities will continue during the coming days.
