
In a move reflecting the club’s ambitions to strengthen its position in competitions, Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club officially announced the signing of Portuguese coach Bruno Pereira to lead the first team’s technical staff. The announcement was made in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al-Tarban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The signing of Pereira comes as a replacement for former coach Tariq Abdul-Halim, as part of the club’s plan to inject new blood into the team and enrich its technical staff with experienced coaches capable of further developing the team’s performance and raising its standards in the coming period.
The Portuguese coach boasts an impressive coaching record in the Arabian Gulf region, having led a number of well-known clubs in the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, including Al-Oruba and Dibba (UAE), Al-Nahda (Oman), Al-Majzel (Saudi Arabia), Al-Seeb (Oman), Al-Nasr (Oman), and Al-Khalidiyah (Bahrain). This experience has given him extensive expertise in dealing with different footballing styles and competitive environments in the Gulf.
The Dibba Al-Hisn club management confirmed that the signing of Pereira is part of a clear vision aimed at building a strong, competitive team. They indicated that the upcoming phase will witness comprehensive technical and administrative support to create a conducive environment for the new coaching staff to achieve positive results and delight the club’s fans.
Coach Bruno Pereira is expected to begin his duties immediately, leading training sessions and preparing the team for upcoming matches, amidst high hopes that the signing will be a significant boost to the team’s performance this season.
