Dibba Al-Hisn Club, in cooperation with the Community Protection and Prevention Department, organized a training workshop titled “Security Awareness,” presented by Assistant Officer Khalifa Mohammed Tamrouq Al-Dhahouri. This workshop is part of the club’s plan to enhance the culture of institutional security, improve the preparedness of players, administrators, and staff in dealing with potential risks within the work environment, and develop their skills in early detection of threats and rapid response to emergencies.
The workshop is part of a series of training programs the club is committed to providing to improve the work environment and raise awareness and preparedness levels among its personnel, in line with its commitment to promoting security and safety across all activities and facilities.
The workshop saw wide participation from employees, trainers, and staff from various departments, including the club’s director, Mohammed Khalifa Al-Nuaimi, and cultural committee member, Mohammed Rashid Rashoud. The workshop addressed a range of advanced training topics focusing on personal and professional security concepts, data and property protection mechanisms, methods for monitoring unusual behavior within facilities, and secure reporting procedures according to the established administrative channels.
The workshop included interactive exercises and realistic simulation scenarios designed to enable participants to practically apply security skills, thereby enhancing their ability to act appropriately in emergency situations. The instructor also emphasized that a sense of security is a collective responsibility, not limited to security personnel alone, but rather something every employee and citizen should possess to protect themselves and their surroundings and contribute to maintaining the nation’s security and stability.
