Egyptian coach Tarek El-Sayed Abdel Ghaffar has reached his seventh coaching milestone with a UAE club when he officially signed to lead the Dibba Al-Hisn team in the upcoming season of the First Division League. He succeeds national coach Hassan Al-Abdouli, who was unable to keep the team in the ADNOC Professional League last season.
Tarek El-Sayed expressed his happiness to continue coaching with UAE clubs to Al-Emarat Al-Youm, stressing that his ambition is to lead Dibba Al-Hisn to achieve his technical vision, achieve the best results and victories, and delight its fans.
He described Dibba Al-Hisn as a large and distinguished club. He said, “My sincere thanks and appreciation to the Dibba Al-Hisn management for their valuable trust. Our ambition is to build a strong team that can compete strongly next season.
Former Zamalek goalkeeper Tarek El-Sayed previously coached the first team at Al-Arabi, Al-Jazira Al-Hamra, Al-Bataeh, Al-Hamriyah, and Dibba Al-Hisn in the season before last. He also coached Emirates Club (Al-Saqour) for a short period before leaving to devote himself to obtaining a professional coaching certificate. Coach Tarek El-Sayed is credited with leading Dibba Al-Hisn to the ADNOC Professional League in the 2023-2024 season, finishing second alongside Al-Orobah.
He also successfully led Dibba Al-Fujairah to promotion to the Professional League in the 2011-2012 season.
