Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club organized a ceremony to honor the U-9 team after winning the Sharjah Sports Council Championship, an achievement that adds to the club’s long list of sporting successes across various age groups.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al Tarban, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, and several members of the Board of Directors.
This honoring falls within the Dibba Al Hisn Club’s strategy to support emerging talent and provide a nurturing and stimulating sports environment, contributing to the creation of future champions and strengthening the club’s presence on the local sports scene.
During the ceremony, Ahmed Murad Al Amiri, Chairman of the Football Academy and Football School Committee, delivered a speech in which he expressed his great happiness at the team’s coronation. He emphasized that this victory was not a coincidence, but rather the result of thoughtful planning and tireless efforts by the academy’s management, in cooperation with the technical and administrative staff, as well as the commitment, discipline, and fighting spirit of the young players, which were evident throughout their tournament journey.
Al-Amiri emphasized that this achievement reflects the club’s vision of building a strong foundation for the game, starting from the grassroots and laying the foundation for a promising generation.
To enhance team spirit and consolidate the concept of a single sporting family, a group photo was taken featuring the U-11 and U-13 Cubs teams alongside the winning U-13 team, an initiative that reinforces the spirit of unity among the club’s various age groups.
A special honor was also given to supervisors and administrators during the ceremony.
