As part of the preparations for the second Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club Festival, which the club is scheduled to host, the second meeting was held yesterday evening, Wednesday, headed by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club.
The meeting was attended by a large number of representatives of government departments in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn, as it was held under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council.
The meeting was also attended by a number of strategic partners of the festival, such as representatives of the Department of Culture in the Dibba Al-Hisn office, in addition to representatives from the police and the municipality.
During the meeting, the heads of the festival’s subcommittees were identified and approved, in addition to dividing the tasks and work mechanism for preparing for the event. After that, the participants in the meeting toured the heritage village that will host the festival, to inspect the preparations and available facilities.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Festival Organizing Committee, stressed the importance of this major event for the club, as it is considered a qualitative leap that will contribute to enhancing sports values and working to develop young talents in the region.
Al Mutawa pointed out that this festival is not only a sporting event, but also constitutes an important platform to enhance communication between all members of society in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn.
