Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club and Dibba Al Hisn Football Club organized an awareness workshop on Friday evening entitled Security, Safety and Evacuation of the Building, in the presence of Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al Amel Al Yahyaei, Chairman of the Club’s Group Games Committee, and Mohammed Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Club, in addition to the club’s players, coaches, and administrative and technical staff.
The workshop is part of a series of events organized by Dibba Al Hisn Club as part of its commitment to developing general awareness among its players and employees, and providing a safe and sustainable sports environment that meets the highest safety standards.
The workshop was presented by Assistant First Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, and aimed to enhance awareness of the importance of security and safety among all employees of the club, including employees, workers, sports and administrative staff. The workshop comes within the strategic plan of the club’s Board of Directors aimed at increasing education and ensuring the safety of everyone, whether inside or outside the sports facilities.
The workshop included a variety of important topics, where the lecturer provided a detailed explanation of the dangers of fires and their common causes, highlighting the best ways to deal with them to reduce damage. Participants were also introduced to the best types of extinguishers and their correct uses according to the type of fire, with a practical explanation of the mechanisms for extinguishing and evacuation in emergency situations to ensure the safety of individuals and protect facilities. At the end of the event, Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, expressed his thanks and appreciation to First Assistant Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, praising the comprehensive explanation and information he provided that contributed to enriching the knowledge of the participants. Al Hamoudi presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer, expressing the club’s gratitude for his efforts in spreading the culture of security and safety within the sports community.
