A delegation from the Sharjah Sports Council and the Public Works Department visited the Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club to follow up on the maintenance and development work taking place at the club. The visit was attended by Ali Mohammed bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Secretary General of the Dibba Al Hisn Club, and Mohammed Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Club, where the current status of the club’s facilities was reviewed within the framework of a comprehensive maintenance plan.
This fruitful cooperation between the Sharjah Sports Council and the Public Works Department comes within the framework of the strategy to enhance sports and cultural facilities in the emirate, which contributes to providing a distinguished sports environment that contributes to supporting and encouraging youth and society to practice sports.
The delegation toured the indoor sports hall and the theater, where they focused on solving a number of technical problems, most notably the problem of the sports hall floor and theater chairs. This comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to improve the quality of sports and cultural facilities in the club, in line with the aspirations of members and visitors.
During the visit, Ali Mohammed bin Yarouf Al Naqbi praised the great role played by the Sharjah Sports Council, especially the Engineering Department, in quickly implementing maintenance work and developing the facilities, and said that “the efforts made by the Engineering Department of the Sharjah Sports Council contribute significantly to improving the club’s infrastructure, allowing members to practice sports and cultural activities in a comfortable and safe environment.”
Bin Yarouf also expressed his appreciation for the positive role played by the Public Works Department in supporting the club, and stressed that the department’s engineers are making great efforts to implement the required technical works with the highest quality standards, which contributes to raising the level of services provided to club members and visitors.
