As part of the Sharjah Sports Council’s commitment to supporting clubs and enhancing their efficiency in various technical and administrative aspects, the Council’s Sports Development Committee conducted a field visit to Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club. This visit was part of the Committee’s plans to monitor the clubs’ conditions and review their operations, contributing to the development of the sports performance system in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The Committee was received by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Club, Mr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Watari, Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, along with several sports team supervisors and committee secretaries.

The meeting began with a welcoming address from the club’s management, during which Dr. Al-Mutawa expressed his appreciation for the visit, which reflects the Sharjah Sports Council’s interest in strengthening communication with clubs and supporting their development efforts. He emphasized that the club continuously strives to improve the efficiency of its sports teams and provide a stimulating environment that fulfills the Council’s aspirations for building a comprehensive sports system.

During the visit, the Development Committee reviewed its plans and observations regarding the club’s sporting performance. It discussed with the administration ways to develop sports teams across all age groups, identified challenges facing both team and individual sports, and worked to propose appropriate solutions in coordination with the relevant departments within the Council. The committee also addressed mechanisms for organizing development and training programs for players, technical staff, and administrators, aiming to enhance efficiency and boost competitiveness in local and international championships.

Committee members emphasized that these visits are part of the Council’s policy to unify efforts and integrate roles between the Council and clubs, with the goal of achieving sustainable sports development, supporting national talent, and strengthening the role of clubs as incubators for sporting excellence.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Development Committee expressed its appreciation for the efforts of Dibba Al-Hisn Club’s administration in developing the overall performance of various sports and its commitment to creating a comprehensive sporting environment that fosters a sense of belonging and fair competition. The committee affirmed that the Council will continue its support and ongoing monitoring to achieve further successes and accomplishments in Sharjah’s sports sector.
